Revolver Upstairs Records returns with another instalment of Community Transmissions, this time offering a wobbly acid cover from aliased Late Show resident, DJ Snow Fleas. What did Arthur Russell mean when he wrote Let’s Go Swimming? Or... This Is How We Walk On The Moon? Or Keeping Up? Somehow these poetic messages from another epoch have always felt right at home on The Late Show’s dancefloors. Lyrical metaphors which mark out the possibility of something else. An exit strategy, woven through echoing drum machines and razor-sharp chord stabs.
